Jerry and I hit another new show this year,
this time in Lebanon Kentucky. Kentucky Jets was quite the spread
put on by Lewis Patton and AMT, especially considering this was
the first show there. There was the normal jets, tents, and such,
but in addition to all the stuff we normally see there was lots
of 'extras'. On site was a huge tent that all the pilots could
pit under, kids inflatable slides and bounce houses, several full
size aircraft demos, and even a skydiver with the American Flag
for opening ceremonies. The full sized glider powered by 2 AMT
turbines was especially fun to watch. This one is definitely
worth returning to.
