Route 66 Jets '06

Jerry and I attended a new jet meet, the Route 66 Jets meet, in Litchfield, IL, put on by Roger Shipley and his crew. This was the weekend before Superman, and it went off very smoothly. We had plenty of room, and plenty of flying time. Although the weather was a bit fowl (look closely at photo 12 below) to start, by the end of the weekend, it turned off quite nice. Saturday also had the static judging for the US Team selection for the Jet World Masters, with Sunday having the flying portion of competition. We had a good time, and will be back next year.
