Welcome!The Mid-Missouri Radio Control Association (MMRCA) welcomes all responsible RC flyers who have current AMA Cards, paid annual dues, and agree to follow accepted guidelines. The following is presented to help make the RC experience safe, and by so doing, more fun for all. The guidelines are for safe operating practices and not just for the sake of regulation. Flying FieldThe club has a field on the west side of Columbia. Over the past few months there has been an approval of a new field but we are still waiting on more info, to release the new location. Follow this link to get more info on the field location. Join MMRCATo Join MMRCA please visit any of our meetings, come out the club field, or attend one of our events. The best time to catch our members at the field is during a nice weekend afternoon and occasionally during the week. Come by and see what the club is all about. Fill out and sign the membership application form and send it to the Treasurer with the appropriate dues. Remember to have flying privileges you must be a member of Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA), so please attach a copy of your AMA Membership Card to your club membership application. This membership provide a number of benefits including a magazine but most importantly it provides supplemental liability insurance. Flight TrainingCome on down to our General Membership Meeting on the third Wednesday of each month and meet our members. Our Officers will put you in touch with an instructor that will help you learn to fly. To help with this we have put together information to help you move through the process. The Student Pilot Training Guide has been designed to help understand what the instructors are talk about. If you want to learn to fly please come out to the field on Tuesday evenings.
