*** Andy Steere's Eagle-3D ***

These are pictures of the assembly process of the Eagle-3D Profile ARF from from Power Line Hobbies.

Local pilot Troy Hamm, 2005 president of our club, friend, and fellow ProBro ("funflyr"), asked to borrow the electric power system out of my Lanier Razor, which I hadn't flown in some time. He said it was for an "experiment". Well... that experiment turned out to be to see if he could get me flying a 40-size profile! Sneaky. :-) He had a Eagle-3D ARF purchased from somebody else, didn't have much money in it ($40), and wanted to try out an electric conversion.

After flying it (WOW!)... I decided to buy it from Troy for what he had in it. I'd install my own radio gear, upgrade the tailwire to a real tailwheel, and replace the soft foam tires with something better. This will give me something to fly when it's too windy for the smaller electrics.
