MOVIE CLIPS

(These movies were produced using Arcsoft's Video Impression 2. The 384Kbps size may run better on slower computers, and are quite a bit smaller than the 760Kbs versions without loosing much quality. Some of the movies are also available in 640x480 resolution (1500kbs), when the original was taken in that size on the Minolta Z3 digital camera. I usually recommend right-clicking on the link, choose save to disk, and play the video ouside the browser.)

09/16/2005 - Awesome 3D Action! Had local flyer Troy Hamm take it for a spin. I flew it for a couple minutes, then turned the sticks over to him and started taking video. Troy's first time flying this plane, but he was nearly instantly comfortable with it.
5:19 minutes (320x240-384Kbps - 12.1MB) (640x480-1.5Mbps - 48.1MB)

09/14/2005 - Second flight. Some basic aerobatics. A little hovering up high. Was running a 11x8 thin-e prop, while I waited for the ordered slow-fly props to come in. Not the right prop for hovering anyway. Yes, that is the Moon you see occasionally in the clip. It was getting pretty late in the evening and a front was coming in too (dark clouds to the right).
4:07 minutes (320x240-768Kbps - 10.1MB) (640x480-2.0Mbps - 31.2MB)

09/14/2005 - FIRST FLIGHT! Pretty boring video, mainly just flying in circles, trying to get the feel of the new bird. A few loops and rolls. The video does show how well the Yak grooves through the air.
7:24 minutes (320x240-384Kbps - 17.5MB) (640x480-2.0Mbps - 54.0MB)
