These are pictures and movies from the Gee Bee Model Y, refitted with a OS 160FX engine. Weighs 14.3 pounds, which is a pound less than with the RCS-140 and two pounds less than the ZDZ-40. These will get updated from time to time, so check back often! Presented in order from earliest to latest, top to bottom.

MOVIE CLIPS

(These movies were produced using Microsoft Movie Maker. The 320x240 size will run better on slower computers or those with limited bandwidth for downloading. Most of the movies are also available in 640x480 resolution, when the original was taken in that size on the Canon S3 IS digital camera. I usually recommend right-clicking on the link, choose save to disk, and play the video ouside the browser.)

07/03/2007 - Maiden flight of the GBY refitted with an OS 160FX 2-stroke glow engine. I guess you could call it a Re-Maiden Flight. Flies great! Only the third tank of fuel through the new engine... and running still quite rich. 20oz fuel tank gives less than a 10 minute flight... I may get a bigger tank for it.
