MOVIE CLIPS

(These movies were produced using Arcsoft's Video Impression 2. The 384Kbps size may run better on slower computers, and are quite a bit smaller than the 760Kbs versions without loosing much quality. Some of the movies are also available in 640x480 resolution (1500kbs), when the original was taken in that size on the Minolta Z3 digital camera. I usually recommend right-clicking on the link, choose save to disk, and play the video ouside the browser.)

12/26/2005 - FIRST FLIGHT! Cool breezy day, 45F and 10+ mph, but the best we'd had in weeks. I needed to get used to this bird so I could fly it indoors in a couple weeks. So, I dispensed with the normal "take it easy" routine and gave the little bird a workout... or at least as much as the windy conditions and my limited 3D skill allow. Broke the outer 1/4 of an aileron late in the flight, but I didn't let that stop me. The landing gear worked great... though at a little over 10 ounces, the wind messed with it trying to taxi. That's fine, as the gear was mainly for indoors.
12:30 minutes (320x240-384Kbps - 32.0MB) (640x480-768Kbps - 64.2MB)
