*** Andy Steere's P-47 ***
This is the condition of the Top Flite P-47 Thunderbolt (1/8th scale, gold edition) as it was purchased. I would describe it as "90% ready-to-cover". Probably would be 95%, but this model was setup for a SuperTigre G90 glow engine and I intended to install an RCS-140 gasoline engine, so there were several modificaitons I had to do. The cockpit kit and pilot had already been glued in, which proved to be a hassle (but the quality of the work far exceeds anything I could have done!). The construction quality is very good, and very light! (The fuse weighed just 2.3 pounds and the wing weighed 1.5 pounds (without retracts), fully built and ready to cover.) Some building, lots of sanding, an plenty of head-scratching left to go!
