Jet Rallies
I'm going to simplify my updates to our travels
a bit. With RCU and other forums out there, there's a lot of
places where pictures of events are posted. What I'm going to do,
is just an annual update of all the pictures that
were of interest to me. Some may be unique planes, or they might
be of people or things that took place at the shows.
Last year we hit up St. Louis, Minnesota, and
Route 66 at Litchfield. The schedule was a bit light as my wife
got geared up and left the work world, and returned to school, to
pursue a law degree.
In row 1, you'll see that some model pilots
have first rate reading while flying.
In the 3rd row below, you'll my friend's new
bird, a BVM KingCat. Jerry did a first rate job on the build and
the finish, and we've started training, so he on his way to
earning his wings.
In the 5th row, I might caution Sharon to be
careful, or it might stick that way.....
6th row, show's Jerry's ability to pack an
airplane in a vehicle that should in no normal way be able to
carry a KingCat.
Final shots are from Roger's Rte. 66 show, that
closed the season for us.
