This year's Ozark Mountain Jets, in Sullivan Missouri, was a little different from last year. What at first could have been viewed as a negative, turned out to be a big step forward in convenience and safety. They had to setup the show further from the active runway than we typically see at most jet meets. The great part of this turned out to be that we could put up our canopies up next to the taxiway, and startup / shutdown just 30 feet infront of our pit area. Not lugging all of the start gear and the airplane constantly all day was great. Turnout looked to be up from last year, and I would only expect that trend to continue. You all have seen airplane photos all over, so below are some other shots of the weekend, which are not necessarily just airplanes. Thanks again to Steve Collins, Roger Shipley and the River City Flyers for putting on another great show, and we're looking forward to next year's show already.
