It was nice to return to Superman this year after we skipped last year. With our son Marcus due
just a week after the show, I figured it would be my luck to get a frantic call, mid flight, that we needed to rush home
the 5 hours and meet them at the hospital, so we just skipped. Anyhow, this years show, was smaller than 2002, and to be
honest, allot more fun. There was a better handle on safety. The pits were twice as big. And lastly you could actually
get some flight time in, if you wanted. All welcome changes.
Below you'll see a collection of the planes there. F-100's seemed to be quite popular, scale wise, with a nice collection of
unusual subjects. Superman is quite the place for buying and selling as well, as shown in the one shot below as well.
Unfortunately there are occasional causalities, as seen below too. Lastly, I took some shots of an interesting van that
showed up Sunday, that those of you that are comic book fans might get a kick out of.
